The 3 Spot is often refered to as the Blue Gourami and is one of the easiest of the Gourami family to keep. Traditionally they are silvery blue but there clours can change with their moods. The name 3 spot comes from the 2 spots on the body and the eye making up the third.
As will all Gouramies these have a labyrinth organ which allows them to breath from the surface, and will there fore require access to the waters surface.

They require a well planted and well filtered tank of at least 50 litres, and are compatible with most small peaceful fish. Suitible tank mates could include -
Tetras, Danios, Plecos, Guppies & Catfish

They like a varied diet of both flake, freeze dried and live food.
