Males tend to be smaller than the females at aproximately 3-5 cm long. Modern captive breed guppies come in an amazing variaty of colours and shapes and offer a great flash of colour to most aquariums. They have even been known to be kept happily in marine tanks as they are very tolerant of hard water.
